Colin,

May I suggest that you put out a call for agenda items?

Colin,

I agree it is time for another Bike committee meeting. I believe that Bob is sending out an email today requesting availability for a meeting.

I would like to have bike shelters and shower facility availability on the agenda. I know that Josh and Bob are close to having shelters built on campus, and that they have been working on the shower availability question.

Bob and I talked last week about the possibility of having a Bike to Mason Day in late October. I think this would be on the agenda as well.

Thanks

Rick

should be invited, please forward this link or have them contact me.

To be included on the agenda:

1. Use of Shower Facilities on Fairfax Campus
2. Reimbursement Vouchers
3. Bike to Mason Day October 27

Let me know other topics you'd like to address as a group. I'll let you
know the results as soon as I get responses.

I would want to add: consideration of a short-term bike rental program
between Vienna Metro and Fairfax City, and campus; along with working
with Fairfax County and City to create the necessary bike friendly
conditions to facilitate its use.

Also: just for clarity: I don't think the issue is quite "use of
shower facilities on Fairfax Campus," but the construction of them.
There are already facilities we can use are on the outskirts of
campus--the aquatic center, the field house, etc.--but the showers I
want to see get built would be in buildings at the center of campus,
e.g. the Robinsons. And with the renovation of several buildings
scheduled in the next few years--Thompson Hall, the Robinsons--now
seems the time to be keeping our attention to that issue.

Thanks,
Robert
