View in browser     The Urban Fellows Programme (UFP) at the Indian Institute for Human Settlements (IIHS) will run from August 2018 to May 2019. The UFP is a tuition free, nine-month, interdisciplinary fellowship designed for learners from a wide range of disciplines with an interest in urban issues. The applications for the Fellowship will close on 16 April, 6pm IST.   The UFP includes a seven-month taught component and a two-month internship period. The internship is a key part of Fellows' transition into post-Fellowship life, work and practice. Internships are offered in government departments and public institutions, private firms and practices, social movements, non-governmental organisations, research think-tanks, development sector organisations and planning and design firms. Many of our Fellows have leveraged their internship opportunities and successfully converted them into full time job placements. To know more from our alumni, click here.   As a part of our outreach efforts, we will host a series of webinars till 12 April every Tuesday and Thursday between 5 pm and 6 pm. Register here to participate in our upcoming webinars.   On Saturday 7 April, we will be hosting an informative session at Indian Music Experience, JP Nagar between 2 pm and 3 pm. This session will provide participants an opportunity to interact with the faculty and Fellows and address any Fellowship or curriculum specific queries.
