Outside.in + FireEagle

Outside.in just announced integration with FireEagle, the personal
location broker service from Yahoo!. You can keep using whatever
services you choose to update your current location in FireEagle, and
the localized news stories that appear in your Outside.in Radar view
will adjust to match where you are.

"This means no more need to update your address in Radar! Take your
laptop to work or the coffee shop? Walk around town checking your
latest Radar alerts on your iPhone? You'll begin to see news,
discussions, and alerts that are happening around your immediate
surrounding, no matter where you travel throughout the day."

If you already have a FireEagle account, you can pair it with your
Outside.in account in the Outside.in settings view. If not,
Outside.in has a few invite codes for FireEagle, and I'd recommend
snapping one up if you get there in time.
