Steve,

We've been quiet on Mashable City for the past few months in terms of tech work, but things have been in process to make our city and state more mashable. Peter Landry from Providence Plan has been making some good progress, and I've been working to influence the candidates at City and State level to integrate City 2.0 open data policies into their policy and positioning.

I've been able to make particular progress with Angel Taveres and with Linc Chafee, who just released an open govt. plank in his platform. Got little news play, but Tim O'Reilly and the SeeClickFix guys gave it a shoutout.

A few of us are plotting a CityCamp Providence in Feb, so we have a sense of the directions of the new public officials.
