About the play
Human aspirations are boundless and in achieving them, we face uncertainties that create fear and conflict in relationships. Is it really possible to escape?Set in a fictional town in Tamil Nadu, the play revolves around the life and dreams of the Kutty Family from the perspective of a father-son relationship in today's time.
The Basement

The Basement is meant to be an intimate space, a semi-house, where theatre is performed, movies are screened, talks and discussions happen, and one feels more involved and a part of the event. That we hope will be a different experience people would enjoy.
This kind of space also transforms the nature of the performance. The sets, the performance, all become part of an experience which is intimate, up close. Given the way the Basement is uniquely structured, the play ends up inhabiting the space and making it an altogether different creative experience. For the actors and the audience.
