About the Play
It’s a dog’s life! It’s a lovely life! It’s a life filled with dreams,
friends and a huge family. With music, song, dance and a bit of drama, it
continues, until the day life learns about the complexity of the world around
it.
Welcome to the bizarre world of Rocky - A world
of simple wishes and small ambitions, a world that the one like ours, has its
share of grievances. The story unfolds a special day in the life of Rocky, our
hero, when he sets out on a simple, yet significant mission. Does he make it?
What does he do when his world seems to contrive against him?
Rocky ka Insaaf was first performed as a 10
minute piece at the Great Galata Festival at Rangashankara in March,
2013. The play is a comic take on the maddening pace of infrastructural
development around us and the inconvenience it causes to a common man.
Please note that children below 8 years of age will not be allowed inside the auditorium. Also the auditorium gates will close sharp at 7:30.
