Thaba-Bosiu hash Sunday August 19 10am

[Maseru Hash House Harriers]

Start time: 10am

Give yourself about 50 minutes of travel time

Suitable for all ages and dogs. This will not be a traditional hash - most of the hike is on a set path with a few notable exceptions. Steep uphill to start, flat plateau for majority, steep downhill to end. Uphill and downhill both on paved steps (or we can do the non-paved step route)

Directions to Thaba Bosiu:

From Pioneer circle, take the bypass road 18km all the way until it dead ends into Main Route South.  

Turn right onto Main Route South - heading towards airport, Mafeteng, and Mohale's Dam. Travel for 1.6km. 

At total station, turn left towards Roma/Mohale Dam/Thaba Tseka. Travel for 6km. 

At turn for Thaba Bosiu, go left. Travel for 8.2 km and Thaba Bosiu information center will be on your left. NOT entrance for cultural village, next left. Lesotho Tourism flag marking entrance. 

Residents will need to pay 20 rand, non-residents 40 rand**
