So,

For those of you who weren't at the North Andover Competition, we came in 18/20 in the Preliminary competitions. But the robot worked really, really well, albeit with some technical difficulties. We did get the robots to balance on the platform a couple of times, and autonomous worked rather well. So good job to everyone there, and thanks for the support of all of the parents and people who helped us.

I'm glad to hear of the improved success over last month's competition. The team put a lot of time and energy into the last month and I was really impressed with the work everyone put in. I'm sorry to have missed it!

Have a good vacation and we will meet on Thursday after vacation.

Joey - please post to the group when you are planning on coming in with the kits so we can be sure to help get everything back up to the room.

Hi guys. I apologize that we have had an absolute challenge rescheduling
the tournament at Proctor School. We have finally been approved for
Saturday, April 2nd. I hope some of you can make it to help us with judging
the event. Please let me know if anyone is interested and we can figure out
who would like to come Friday night to learn the robot judging so we do not

Hi Denise. Thanks for getting back to me. I would love to have Ryan judge.
There are two choices for learning the robot board. It should take a half
hour to learn.

1. The Masco kids can come the Friday night any time after 6:00 April 1st
when we are setting up the tournament and learn the board then for the next
morning.
2. or Masco team can come to one of our Monday night meetings on March 14th
or March 21st any time between 6:30-8 pm to go through the scoring.

We are looking for 4 people to be robot board judges and one time keeper.
If we have any extra people, I would love to have judges that give awards
for team performance, robot design, etc. I will take any help you have to
offer and THANK YOU in advance! The kids really loved seeing your robot last
year so if you have that, we would love to have you bring it.

If you guys could let me know who wants to help and when you want to meet

Hi guys.  Thank you for volunteering.  I'm not sure if everyone got the info regarding the tournament.  I am hopeful that some of you can come on Friday, April 1st at 7 pm  to Proctor School gym to learn the robot scoring,  The last two years we went over it with you guys the day of the event and I feel it is way too hectic.  Also, the event starts at 9 am Saturday, April 2 so if you can get there between 8:45 and 9 am that would be great.
