Hello there!
It’s the month of September and this would be the final edition of MASCA’s monthly newspaper for the year 2010. That said, on behalf of MASCA VICTORIA 2009/ 2010 Committee I would like to thank you for your support in all (or a few*) of MASCA Victoria event this year. It is my greatest hope that both of our student organisation could work closer together to provide an even better service to our fellow Malaysians in Victoria!
But before I sign off, below is the list of upcoming events that your student association would anticipate. Also attached is MASCA Victoria’s newsletter. MASCA Victoria would greatly appreciate it if you could forward this to your members as it would benefit them greatly.
GRADUAN – AUSTRALIA RECRUITMENT DRIVE
Recruitment Fair

Scheduled Interview sessions
DATE: October 10 – 12th
VENUE: Arrows on Swanston
TIME: 10AM – 5PM
The Malaysian Students’ Council of Australia - National (MASCA National) is looking for capable and enthusiastic people to join our team for the upcoming term 2010/2011.
We are a group of student leaders from all over Australia working to improve and maintain the welfare of Malaysian Students studying here. By joining us, you will develop a valuable set of skills and gain immeasurable experience in varied fields, bound to strengthen your future prospects. This is an opportunity not to be missed.
Currently, the following positions are vacant:
1. Cultural Director
· Oversight of all Malaysian cultural events held in Australia.
· Take charge of cultural events proposed by MASCA National
2. Education and Career Development Director
· Main responsibility would be the facilitation of the Testimonial Australia awards programme.
· Liaise with potential employers with the organisation of career and networking events around Australia.
3. Information and Technology Director
· Responsible for the upkeep of the MASCA National website, including maintenance and technical solutions.
· In-charge of media and marketing strategies for the association.
