Hello guys!
Is there a way to view the index.html file directly in the browser? I managed to open it but except for the link hotspot and the image titles, I can't see anything.

Thanks!

I'm no expert, but I believe this is expected behaviour due to the restrictions modern browsers place on local files.

You can view it in Internet Explorer on windows which doesn't have the above restrictions, but is limited in functionality.

If you have to view it the files from a local drive or offline, you will have to install an internet Wamp server or similar.

Otherwise, it's upload to an internet host provider.

Hi,

Which browser are you using?

Most browsers won't work with the output of Marzipano straight away, some do. This is due to CORS policy.
You can solve this by placing the files on an external or local webserver. I can advise the free webserver; XAMPP.

In Chrome you have a workaround to play the tours locally without webserver;
Create a desktop-shortcut and edit the target of the shortcut, placing the text "--allow-file-access-from-files" behind it.
For example;
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --allow-file-access-from-files
Then close all Chrome windows and open a new window with the edited shortcut. From that browser window the tour will work.

Good luck!
Joost
