Marzipano viewer issues in Safari on desktop and mobile

Did anyone notice that on Safari on mobile and desktop when you load the demo tour, the panorama preview is not loaded properly? and because of this we can see  the high resolution tiles loading, resulting in a not so good experience 

Tiago, do you think there is anything that can be done?

There are two errors 

[Error] Viewport argument key "target-densitydpi" not recognized and ignored. (sample-tour, line 7)
[Error] Viewport argument key "minimal-ui" not recognized and ignored. (sample-tour, line 7)

But I don't think these are the issues

I generated it earlier this year and didnt change the code. My guess is that the demo tour you have viewd has been created on an old version of marzipano...

The issue is with the latest version 0.10.2, and that is what the online demo is on 

your tour is on 0.9.1 and loads fine, I bet that if you switch 0.10.2 your tours have this issue also 

I will try to downgrade to a lower version and see when this issue was introduced

The 0.10+ updates have this problem, confirmed. Probably a problem that has risen since...

No response from the owner yet.. 

Would be nice to make a 10.3 fix...

I downloaded an offline version a while back as I was worried the tool could disappear without any notice. I also wanted to control the quality of the images produced. I will zip up a copy and share it with you. I think it uses an unaffected version of the tool. I’ve had no reports of issues.

I might check against the file you have provided too Joost.

In my research I did with Al Bug (the topicstarter) my conclusion is that the bug is introduced in the marzipano.js code, version 0.10.1.

Version 0.10.0 had a broken release script and was updated the same day to version 0.10.1.

Here are some tests, problem rises on 10.1:

* Fix: pass tile instead of asset to `networkError` callback (#342). 

* Breaking: delete Flash and CSS renderers (#350). 

@everyone: is it someone possible to get the source of Marzipano?

Sorry for the delay in getting around to this. Here is my modified version of the tool which uses the old version of marzipano.js and also I've added in the ability to customise the jpeg output quality.

It just needs to be uploaded to any basic web hosting as the magic is all done in the browser anyway. No server side code required.

I just saved a copy of the marzipano tool page in chrome as I was always afraid it would disappear at some point. Then I found I needed to make changes to the code to adjust the quality of the images. I’m hoping they will just open source the tool code so the community can maintain it.

Is the tool code on GitHub and I just missed it?
