Hello!

Was wondering if anyone could walk me through modifying .js files so that I could get custom Initial Views per each hotspot (?)

I'm not at all versed in javascript, but can at least cut and paste at the proper places with simple instruction. I'd like to keep a default view, but override this with custom JS code that I could just change the positioning values per intended hotspot.

Might be asking for too much, but If possible, I'd like to arrange a short screenshare session walkthrough with anyone knowledgeable, though a reply in this post/stack overflow is also appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!

Hello Nodel,

Can you explain a bit more about the function you wish to have? By just reading your post, it's pretty unclear for me what you want.
Please share some more info so we can dive into this.

Do you mean that you want to switch from one scene with a hotspot to another by entering a target view?
So imagine walking from room a to c; A -> B -> C, upon walking back from room C to A you want to enter other viewangles than the initials ones?

thanks in advance,
Joost

yes this is correct. Depending on what hotspot you click from, it should be a different initial view.

Walking form C to A should look like you turned around and are now facing the opposite direction

This post has the answer;
Hope you can get it done.

Off-topic;
Support from the original creators/community is very limited these days. No new features, it feels "dead".
I would like to suggest that you take a look at pannellum.org, look at the samples; https://pannellum.org/documentation/examples/simple-example/
Also a free way of creating tours. In this software you can actually give TargetYaw and TargetPitch with hotspots.

Anyway, good luck and lets us know if you fixed your problem.

Greetings,
Joost

Thank you this should help somewhat. I saw this thread earlier, but since i'm not particularly versed in JS, i was looking for more of a hand-holding walkthrough. I'll try to see if i can figure this out and apply to my situation. Thank you for your help
