Political correctness.
Once upon a time I didn't see it as a near evil thing that I do now. I am all for manners, let us be clear on this distinction. However political correctness run amok leeds to dishonesty, miscommunications and negative outcomes. Men and women are not equal. We will never be equal nor are we the same. There are things women will always do better than men, just as men statistically will be stronger and have better eye hand co-ordination.
Is that an argument for superiority? No absolutely not. Nor is it a justification for sexism. It is a argument for, we're different. Men and women right or wrong are raised differently, socialized differently and sometimes have naturally competing objectives. Men are hunters (ie natural predators), women are gatherers we are anthropologically task specific creatures. No agenda, no spin, merely simple truth which so many now wish to ignore.
Men, if we have a decent male role model are raised to value honor and loyalty. Say what you do, do what you say. In other words honor your agreements. A man who is known to not honor his agreements, most men want nothing to do with him. One of the problems in this business is most women, have no honor. Let me be a little more precise, most women do not value the concept of honor as men are socialized to understand it.
Granted there are males who's word isn't worth shit. I'm not talking about them. Nor am I ignoring the individual woman who have more honor than some men. I'm speaking in social-anthropological terms. Where do you think the saying "it's a woman's prerogative to change her mind" came from? Agreements don't have the same value with women as they do with men. Outside of the issue of sexual fidelity of course. There should be nothing wrong with acknowledging we have different instinctive drives in many areas.
It would seem, my latest applicant who was to start in Feb. has decided to change her mind. She went from being gung-ho to over thinking it. in less than 24 hours, then outright sabotage.
