Here are some announcements that we wanted to share with you:

2. Monday August 18 from 3:30-4:30pm AMMTE Community of Practice virtual meeting on instruction facilitated by Dr. Christy Graybeal

3. Friday August 22 from 9:00am-3:00pm AMMTE Fall Member Meeting at Loyola University, Fernandez Center, Room 333

• Free for current members
• $20 for non-members

3. Are you interested in bringing games into the K-12 classroom? Check out the Game On Project website (https://fmtcumd.wixsite.com/gameonproject/about) to see a variety of games that have been field tested in classrooms.

5. Do you know a novice high school math or science teacher? Let them know that they can apply for a Knowles Teaching Fellowship (see attached flyer or use this link to apply: https://knowlesteachers.org/apply-for-a-fellowship)

7. AMMTE Board Member Karen Terrell helped edit 3 new books on culturally sustaining pedagogies (see attached Word doc for details). We encourage you to request your university library add these to their collection.
