Greetings Maryland Math Teacher Educators,

The AMMTE Board met last Friday. I’m writing to share information about upcoming events and opportunities.

  1. The Maryland Council of Teachers of Mathematics (MCTM) Annual Conference is next Friday, October 18th at Reservoir High School in Howard County. This year’s keynote speaker is Howie Hua. We encourage you to:
    1. Bring your students to the conference. It's a great opportunity for them to attend sessions, network, and win raffle prizes.
    2. Attend. There will be an AMMTE table where you can update your membership and an AMMTE meet-and-greet from 1:30-2:30pm to catch up with old friends and make new ones! Many AMMTE members are presenting at the conference so look for their sessions.
