I hope you are enjoying the warmer weather as we head into spring. I wanted to share a few announcements from the Association of Maryland Mathematics Teacher Educators. 

1. Please join us this Friday (Pi day!) for the documentary "Counted Out"

• Reception and check-in at 4pm, Film from 4:30-6pm, Panel discussion from 6-7pm

• Doors open at 5pm, Film from 5:30-7pm, Panel discussion from 7-8pm
  
  
2. Final call for nominations for President-Elect. Please reach out to any board member if you are interested or have questions about the position.
   
   
3. Mark your calendars! We will host virtual gatherings this spring to build community and discuss relevant issues.
1. Monday April 7 from 3:30-4:30pm facilitated by Dr. Christy Graybeal focused on teaching math content and pedagogy
2. Monday May 5 from 3:30-4:30pm facilitated by Dr. Karen Terrell focused on research, grants, and partnerships
3. Open to all (members and non-members welcome)
4. Calendar invites will be shared with the Maryland Math Teacher Educator Google Group
