Harriet Tubman & Friends of the UGRR: Finding Freedom Through Faith
In conjunction with other local organizations, The Baltimore African American Tourism Council, Inc. will host a series of workshops across the state. Presenters and attendees will have an interactive dialogue, share information and have fact-finding conversations on the life and legacy of Harriet Tubman, Maryland slavery, Freedom via the Underground Railroad, and the role that the faith community played in the fight for freedom. There will be exhibits, hand outs and free literature available for attendees. This event is free and open to the public.
