I've bought from him a few times and it's always  been painless.

eh, like 5 or 10 bucks I think, it's in euros. I'll also add, that I don't think I've ever stopped at one thing once I start an order some other stuff always finds it's way in the box.

I thought using a Spec Ops model to fill in for a model you don't have was quite kosher.

They are perfect proxies for things that can be legally proxied (I'm on my phone, but check the ITS proxy rules). There are models for most of the riot Grrl profiles, so there are no valid proxies for them. A converted Grrl from a vortex base would be acceptable.

Interestingly, at the Interplanetario, the packet specifically allowed you to use a different sculpt of the same trooper if you're taking multiple units with the same profile. I.e. using the Shotgun Makaul as an HFT if you already have a couple. So Corvus knows what's up :D

Ah, I wish they would put that in the ITS rules, because that's how so many people play, especially with warbands.

I think I remember reading somewhere that the official ruling from CB is use the correct model for a unit, even if it's not holding the right gun, (the makul example). Followed by a CB mini if a model does not exist for a unit.  So spec ops filling in for one of the blepity blup hacker team they're promoting is kosher, but not for the grrls.

That being said, I don't think I've ever run into someone actually enforcing that rule, but I also don't play tournaments.

And there's profiles for the spec ops guys, right? Like I can make one in army 5.

It tends to be unenforced, yes.

The rules for proxies and conversions only apply to ITS and are spelled out well in that document.
