Good Afternoon Cru,  

Check out these updates and announcements!

1. CRU- Come to Cru Thursday night at 8pm to in Armory 0126 to learn about what it means to introduce others to Christ. Sarah and Julia will be sharing!

2. MONTH ON MISSION- We are in week 2 of month on mission! I have already heard some really cool stories from the cards so if you haven't tried them yet check it out and if you have, keep going strong. Today why don't you try heading over to everystudent.com and pick an article to share with a non-believing friend!

3. BIG BREAK- Students are heading to Panama City Beach, FL this Friday! If you have questions email Brian...@cru.org. 

4. LEADERSHIP APPLICATIONS- New Leaders: Applications are due this Friday! Here is the link to the online application: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/2015MDCru.  Returning Leaders: Your applications were due on March 1st. 5. CRU WOMEN'S BOOK CLUB- For 6 weeks after Spring Break, women in Cru are invited to participate in a book club on Friday mornings at 8am in the North Campus Diner where we will begin to think through God’s design for sex and how we as women can glorify Him in our relationships! The Book we will be reading is Real Sex: The Naked Truth about Chastity by Lauren Winner. For those of you who are single, what better time to investigate where you personally will stand in regards to sexuality before you are in a situation where you have to scramble to figure out what God says and how you will live out your beliefs? And for those of you who are currently dating, there is no better time than now to learn how to glorify the Lord in regards to purity in your present relationship. In general, this is extremely important stuff. We (the staff women) care about you and want to create a safe place for women to talk about sexuality and God! 6. SUMMER MISSIONS- There's still room for men and women to join Penley's at TriLife in Jacksonville and for women to Julia in Ocean City, MD. See this link for more details: http://www.cru.org/opportunities/mission-trips/summer.html

7. LENT JOURNEY TO THE CROSS- The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are at the very heart of Christianity. The good news of the gospel is that God has acted in history to conquer evil and reconcile sinners to himself through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Check out the Lent Devotional Guide attached to this email to help you draw closer to Him during this time! The staff team read one of these today and it's solid!
