Check out these updates and announcements! 

1. CRU- Come to Cru this Thursday, September 11th at 8pm in Armory 0126. Ryan will be sharing from the word with us!

2. VOLLEY BALL- Bring your friends and Come out to La Plata Beach Sunday at 2 pm for fun, fellowship, and some serious volleyball! Check out the Facebook event for more details: https://www.facebook.com/events/566753026762751/?notif_t=plan_user_invited

3. FLAG FOOTBALL- You think you're the next Cam Newton? Prove it! Mark your calendars for the Cru Flag Football Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 2 pm (https://www.facebook.com/events/439403239534435/). This is a great place to invite people outside of Cru who you know! All teams must be coed and a maximum of 15 people (at least 2 girls). There will be food! Go to https://docs.google.com/a/terpmail.umd.edu/spreadsheets/d/1KYAio5CVwfc4WRoQoOKl_x6yrrMrpIuqgRitk8APNeg/edit to create your teams. 4. FALL RETREAT- Mark your calendars for the weekend of October 10-12th. Fall Retreat is a great opportunity to form some new friendships and go deeper with the friends you already have, all the while learning more about a relationship with God.  Jeff Martin, former Cru staff member, now pastor of Rock Creek Church, will be our speaker. Have we mentioned fun? ... late night pranks, getting tackled for a spoon, dance contests, flag football, unruly games of signs, sock wars, canoes... the adventures are limitless!  This year we will bring back the much acclaimed talent show on Friday night, so get your act together and register here: http://www.marylandcru.com/grow.html. 

5. CONCESSIONS- Calling all Ellicott Community members and friends! You are in charge of staffing the WVU v. UMD Cru football concession stand. Concessions will last from 9:30am-3:30pm. 6. MEN'S/WOMEN'S TIME- Ladies and gentlemen, mark your calendars for Saturday evening, September 20th for the first Men's and Women's Time of the semester. More details to follow!

1. CRU- Come to Cru this Thursday, September 18th at 8pm in Armory 0126. Ryan will be sharing from the word with us! We still have some left over Maryland Cru shirts and tanks on sale for $15, first come first served. They will be on sale again after Cru, see JChen.

2. FALL RETREAT- Register now to come to Fall retreat the weekend of October 10-12th. Registration cost is currently $50 for freshmen and $100 for all other. Register by September 25th or the price goes up to $125 for all! 4. MEN'S TIME- Men, meet outside Comcast Center in Lot 4 at 2:30 pm this Saturday, September 20th for grilling, sports, and games!

5. WOMEN'S TIME- Ladies, join us for treats and journal decorating on Saturday evening, September 20th at 7:30pm in Oakland. 6. NEW WOMEN'S PEER GROUP- Are you a Junior or Senior woman interested in getting involved in a small group Bible study? Meet in the back after Cru on Thursday, September 25th and the staff will present a new peer group curriculum.
