Hello MMET families –
Please use this notice as a reminder to send in your $25 snack "fee"
for your MMET student, if you haven’t already done so. This was
discussed at our first parent meeting and if you didn’t have your
checkbooks handy you may not have been able to turn in your donation
that evening. Checks have been trickling in, but the Guild wanted to
make the process for payment easy.
If you missed the first MMET guild meeting, we discussed how we feed
the performers and media students during the Main Stage shows. The
Guild provides dinner on the night of dress rehearsal, the night of
the first show and then healthy snacks & water for nights two and
three of the Main Stage shows.
Mr. Knight has asked us to feed the MMET students because he doesn't
want them leaving campus or rehearsals to go elsewhere to eat.
Keeping the kids together on these nights insures that no one misses
his/her call time for blocking and run throughs and makes life a lot
easier for Mr. Knight and Mr. Simmons. This is also a great time of
excitement & fun as the kids have time together before the big show.
In addition Mr. Knight likes to have pizza parties and snack days for
the kids which the Guild also pays for.
Every dollar you donate will be used to feed the students.
$25 is the suggested donation per student and that will cover you for
the full school year. We do have some MMET families that are
struggling financially and we don't want to put any undue stress on
anyone. If you are ABLE and would like to add $2 or $5 extra (or even
more) to your snack donation that would be greatly appreciated and
will help to cover those students whose parents just can't donate
right now.
If you aren't sure if you have already made the snack donation, please
contact Mary at
mmet...@hbapa.org. She has a list of those who have
already paid.
Please make your check payable to the APA MMET GUILD and mail it to:
Pam Fishbein, MMET Treasurer
20182 Cattail Cir
Huntington Beach, CA 92648
Please write your student’s name on your check so I can give you
credit for the donation. Thank you very much.
Pam
