Hi All,
Obviously this is a busy email morning for me! Below is a
ridiculously long link to a document that I just uploaded to our
Google Groups site. If the link doesn't work then go to our Google
Groups page, under the "FILES" tab you will find the document
Classroom & Rehearsal Schedule for the Monday/Wednesday Song Writing
and Recording classes. Mr. Knight's other classes are already on a
similar schedule.
This grid is a bit confusing which is why Mr. Knight is going to go
over this new schedule at our PARENT MEETING this TUES. OCT 12 @ 7 PM
in the MMET classroom/studio. I will also have copies of it available
at the meeting.

THIS MEETING IS VERY, VERY IMPORTANT! Classroom issues will be
discussed at this meeting.

We are asking all of our parents AND MMET students to attend this
meeting because unfortunately some problems/issues have been popping
up in the MMET Department. There has been some discontent among some
of the students and some of this discontent has been reflected in poor
attitudes to some of the college assistants teaching with Mr. Knight.
Mr. Knight is very concerned about the negative tone beginning to
spread among the classes is and going to be taking this opportunity to
discuss how students are chosen for their parts in every MMET show and
what is expected of them once they are given a part to play &/or
sing. He will also be covering how he will be handling your student's
outside conflicts with rehearsal times and show dates and what
accommodations will and will NOT be made.
As I said before this is a very important meeting and STUDENTS should
also be attending this meeting with their parents. If you are unable
to attend please let me know and I will make every effort to get you
the information covered Tuesday night. But because of the sensitive
nature of this meeting please make every effort to attend.

Another order of business is the MMET By-laws. We will be voting to
approve those By-laws and while I will have a couple of copies for you
to peruse that evening, please take a moment to read them over now. A
copy has been uploaded to our Google Groups site under the “FILES”
tab.
