A few things

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are staying cool with all this heat! I have a couple of
things to cover with all of you.

First up Mike Simmons needs some help for some of our do it yourself
dads (or moms) read on:
"I've spent time recently looking at home-built camera equipment...
things to make our cheap little cameras do cinematic things...
steadicam rigs, handles, dollys, tracks. This is all stuff that can
be built with hardware store supplies for cheap instead of us raising
tens of thousands for specially made pro gear. I have a thought that
maybe there are some dads out there that might be crafty in the garage
that might want to 'work off' their hours building us some of these
goodies in their spare time. If they're really broke they could even
turn in their receipts... but It's the research, shopping, and tooling
that would be a great thing for us to get. Know what I'm saying? I
know there's gotta be one dude out there who's likes doing this kinda
stuff and could knock out a bunch of pieces for us. I have some
'directions' and there are TONS of things on the internet & youtube
that explain what to buy and what to do. Think about it."

Second item: I know I have been promising this for awhile but I will
begin sending out invitations to join Constant Contact tomorrow! You
will have to accept our invitation or you will NOT receive any
communication from the MMET Guild. Google Groups is so last month!
Please don't make us track you down, it will be a simple click and you
are in. If you don't I'm going to have to look up your name, give you
a call, you are going to apologize, I'm going to say "that's okay" and
really do you want to put me through all that? Well actually it won't
be me because I'm going to make Phyllis Coulsen do it, but do you
really want to make Phyllis work that hard? Really? I'm so happy we
have had this chat. ;-)
