GAPPS pico / Mindthe Gapps too big for HH system partition

I've tried repartitioning the HH using TWRP HH.R but as soon as I install Maru 0.6 the system partition reverts to the original size and cannot install GAPPS pico but MindtheGapps kind of installs recognizing low system resources but it doesn't install correctly.

Does anyone have an idea what's happening. I suspect that Maru 0.6 is itself resizing the system partition back to the original size. Any way around that?
