Pixel 7 Pro Port

I'd like to port Maru to the Pixel 7 Pro. I'm told it's a decent phone that meets the reqs for Maru. Can anyone confirm that?

I'm a coder, but I've never done anything like this before. I figure I need the Maru OS base code, but there github is confusing. Can anyone help me with these?

There's source for other OSes available for the P7P. What can I use from these?
