Hello there,

i am very interested in your project. I do have access to a Samsung Galaxy S10e and i would really like to get maru running on it. Do you think thats possible?

The thing is: i have absolutely no experience with ROMs and programming stuff in general, so i may need some advice for installing maru, especially on an unofficial device.

Greetings,

Jonas

Hi Jonas! If the Galaxy S10e is supported by LineageOS, you should be able to get Maru running on it without too much trouble. However, we have noticed some freezing issues with streaming Maru Desktop on the S9+ that we still haven't solved - it is possible that the S10e has the same issue. I suggested discussing with @GeorgianChituc, who worked on the S9+ build.

The best way to started is to get LineageOS built from source for your device and see how it works. If you can do that successfully, we can walk you through enabling Maru for it.

Hi,

I have an opportunity to buy Samsung Galaxy S10+ or perhaps even SG Note 10+ which is a real beast so I'm also interested in this.

The confusing part is at https://download.lineageos.org/ I can't see even S9/S9+ listed, which are officially supported by Maru so I'm not sure anymore?
The last LineageOS supported SG seems to S5 (various models).

Thanks
Davorin

If a device have no longer a maintainer it is removed from the 'officially supported devices ' from LOS
