I happen to have google wave and I have a ton of invites, would like to wait till we have a digital meeting to suggest it, but then we would be jumping to yet another communication tool and people are bound to be upset with that.

Ed & Ramsey,
I've been mulling over all of this today - had not anticipated anyone
running into so much difficulty in sharing a file. One idea would be
to use our site to attach files (you can attach files to the bottom of
any google site page) - I have done that with classes and sports
groups many times in the past. Most MARTI folks should be listed as
either collaborators or owners - I am going to look over the list and
be certain of that. Do you believe this would be a viable option?

Ramsey, since you are listed as a collaborator, would you attempt to
attach a file to the homepage for me, so I'll know that collaborators
can do so? I can always bump you up to owner if you run into
difficulty - but in doing some research it appears that collaborators
can most anything except change the site theme.

Google Wave sounds cool - I have not used it, but started reading up
on it once it was mentioned. We don't necessarily have to use it with
this group, but it's a neat new trick to know!

Probably so- but the thing I love about it is that so many functions seem
to be seamlessly integrated into 1 email-like format- I get very confused
cobbling things together ( as you can see).

OK- I attached it to the main MARTI sites home page- but I saw no way to
put it in context with a comment (ie tell people why it's there).

Ed- have your invitations to people been delivered yet- they did warn that
it will "take a long time to lick all those stamps", but none of my
invites have gone to people yet after several weeks.
