Moodle Help Requested

The following message came across on the Adult Ed listserv - not sure
how many of you receive those emails, so I wanted to post here as
well:

"Are there any adult educators out there who feel they are

proficient in Moodle to provide some assistance to an instructor

...and that's why you are wonderful! I have only used Moodle for our MARTI contact last year. I use Google Groups or Ning most of the time.

Hello Margie and the rest of the MARTI folks --

I would like to request that someone do a workshop or two at MAEA for the very beginner computer user. All these topics sound exciting to learn about, but some people are intimidated by the lingo and descriptions. Could someone to a simple, basic "how-to" workshop?

Teaching newbies, loathers and the fearful is a passion of mine. If it is one that MAEA would like to offer, I would love to do it.

Let me know what you would like to teach, and I can assist if you'd like. I know I like an extra pair of hands with the newer users. I was trying to decide WHAT to teach for them. I'm already working up an Excel Essentials for the self-taught or yet-untaught.

How many workshops can be accepted? Your email has generated so much enthusiasm and ideas that Ron may find himself inundated with proposals.

I will submit one for beginners and appreciate your offer of extra hands.
