An con goer trying new cons

Hi I'm Viga. Long time con goer; first time Marscon goer.

Well, at least I'm planning to. I mostly inhabit the anime con scene
around VA,MD,DC and MA. I love gaming, steampunk, Sci fi and art a lot
too. So I have a few questions because this is a brave new world to
me.

1. Is it too exclusive? (As in I'm too X to be X.)
2. Is it big?
3. Are there lots of stuff to do?
4. Is it scary?

Also, I'm a panelist at the cons I go to. Is it too late to try and
run anything? I couldn't find any info on the site.
