Hi Earl,
I hope all is well, sorry for not getting this to you
sooner. Working and juggling Zoey has been quite the
challenge these last few months.
1. West Virginia University, December 2019, Mechanical
Engineering
2. Electrical Sub-Team Lead and Drive Team (Human Player,
Drive Coach, and a few matches of Co-Pilot)
3. I currently work for Tangram Flex, a Government
Contractor, as a Full Stack Software Engineer for the United
States Air Force.
4. Growing up, I thought I wanted to be an engineer, but
after joining MARS it solidified this career choice. Each
year, we faced different design challenges, but it always
made you think outside the box for solutions to solve
problems that seemed to be fairly easy at first glance. This
portion of FIRST really kept me interested in becoming an
engineer.
5. When we won the Pittsburgh Regional in 2012, I was the
human player. Getting the chance to participate in the end
game and score some last minute baskets, by throwing the
ball the full length of the field to win matches, made that
Regional Win mean even more to me. I remember after one of
the elimination matches, I had sunk a full court basket for
us to win by 1 single point. Those were some of the best
memories, where I got to put my softball and basketball
skills to work alongside my technical skills.
