Hi all,

 

I know this is a difficult time of year with lots going on, but we have a number of planning issues for 2025 that need to be resolved by mid-January. These include, in order of priority, identification of out-of-Region MARRS events so that we can finalize and publish the full MARRS schedule, minor changes to run groups, race group rotations, and any changes to format or schedule that are needed so that we can move forward with supps for all events, approval of 2025 MARRS rules, and informational updates re: Summit Point, operations, logistics, etc.

 

With that in mind, I have scheduled an initial Zoom meeting for Saturday, Jan 4 at 8:30 am. Link will arrive in a separate email. I know there are several Reps that are in Florida racing the first two weeks of January, so all materials for discussion on Jan 4 will be sent out today, and I encourage email discussion, and if needed we can conduct email votes following the meeting. As mentioned above, one of the priorities is out of region events. I have attached the NEDiv Regional Schedule (with May VIR added) so you can see what the possibilities are. Several things to note:

- We have added the Summit Point October MARRS back to the schedule (the weekend after the Runoffs)

- Other than May VIR and May NJMP, all out-of Region options (Pitt Race, Oct NJMP, 2 Glen events) now fall on back-to-back weekends with one of our Summit Point weekends

 

Driver reps, please work with your groups this week to get their feedback on what they prefer for out of Region in 2025.
