to Marriage Fraud
Our most recent experience helping someone wit marriage fraud involved
the Islamic Society of Stillwater. The Chairman of this Mosque refused
to turn over the Islamic marriage certificate to a person who was
acting as power of attorney for a women attempting to get out of a
very abusive marriage fraud situation. The power of attorney asked for
the certificate and visited the Mosque no fewer than seven times. We
have a recording of one such attempt we will upload soon.

The point here is that this is not an uncommon event in Mosques and
Islamic centers accross America, Canada and other western countries.
These country clubs, posing as houses of worship are very much aware
of these problems and do little or nothing to prevent marriage fraud
from happening. In many cases they help to promote it, having
themselves been in the same situation - they willing help people who
then become strong financial donors to the Islamic Society.

Do a search on sites like ISNA, the Islamic Society of North America
and you will find not one article or even a mention of marriage fraud.
It is impossible that they are not aware of the problem. These same
organizations then turn around and attempt to convince people that
emigrant Muslims are here to help the citizens of the US and other
western countries.

In general, those people migrating from traditional Muslim lands are
the very worst representatives of the Islamic faith.
