Dxv3 After Effects

Hii want to render a file through "Adobe after effects" with the codec dxv3 wich i know is through a quicktime asset thing. Ive downloaded the codec installed it and the latest version of quicktime. Anyone having the same issue as me?

Can confirm that the Mac version of the DXV3 codec is compatible with QT 7 Pro player software operating under Sierra OS. Since you indicate you are operating under Windows 7, assume by "the latest version of QT," you are referring to the QT 7 Player app but you failed to indicate whether or not the software is keyed for "Pro" use or not, whether it is your system or the QT app issuing the "Not Found" error, where Windows stores user installed codecs, and/or if the correct codec package was downloaded/installed on your system.

Sorry! Should have been more specific. Was wondering if you could add more regarding codec storage locations under Windows (i.e., global Windows codec storage vs QT 7 app codec storage). I thought this issue came up previously when they dropped support for the "alternate" QT 7 for Windows codec package for use with QT 7 Pro/MPEG Streamclip installations.

In any case, DXV3 appears to be a Resolume "high performance," cross-platform, high resolution multilayer, alpha-channel compatible editing codec that selectively supports video card hardware acceleration. Never heard of it before this posting but it seems to be provided as part of Resolume's Arena 5 Media Server and/or Avenue 4 VJ Software packages for Mac OS X. Files encoded with it are QL/QT7 compatible with Sierra OS but convert when opened in QTX. My 608p60 test conversion had a video data rate in the 105-110 Mbps range.

Hola, estoy postendo muchos temas ultimamente y parece ya que sea algo pedante, pero en fin es el problema de ser un inculto informatico. En esta ocasin quera preguntar al foro si alguien sabe como puedo renderizar mis composicionaes en cdec Dxv que es el cdec mejor soportado por el software Resolume. En el anterior After se poda renderizar directamente en este cdec, solo tenias que instalarlo en el sistema y cuando queras ir a la cola de precesacion solo tenias que elegir en formato QuicTime y podias elegir el cdec dxv.

Ahora tienes que ir a Encoder y all eliges el cdec que quieres, pero a pesar e tener instalado este cdec (DXV), en el encoder no lo puedo encontrar, no existe, En After Effects tampoco. pero curiosamente en Premiere si me Aparece.

Efectivamente, Adobe ha quitado los archivos mov en algunos cdecs no se sabe bien con que intencin, pero para los que antiguamente utilizabais after effects y renderizabais en h264 u otro cdec como el DXV3 que soporta Resolume arena, decir que debis instalar un conversor que tiene Resolume (Alley) y que sirve para convertir archivos en este cdec de el software de videoMapping. Al instalar el software , los cdecs que traen tambin se instalan en la plataforma adobe, permitiendo asi al renderizar en after effects poder elegir el cdec deseado. Ocurre lo mismo con Encoder. Para los que quereis renderizar con el cdec h264 teneis que ir a Adobe Encoder el cual tiene acceso desde after effects aadiendo a la cola de procesamiento en Adobe Encoder.
