The Marpa IRC channel has been moved to #marpa on libera.chat. I apologize for doing this with short notice and after only a very brief IRC discussion. It appears that freenode has had mass resignations, to the point where the collapse of maintenance looked like a real possibility. A discussion of the matter is on the libera.chat home page.
