2012 California Releaf Urban Forestry and Education Grant Program$1,000 - $10,000Funding is available now to assist nonprofit and community-based groups throughout California with priority tree planting and tree care projects statewide. The California ReLeaf Urban Forestry and Education Grant Program is funded through contracts with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) and Region IX of the Environmental Protection Agency.
Eligible applicants include incorporated nonprofit organizations and unincorporated community-based groups, with a financial sponsor, located in California. Individual funding requests range from $1,000 to $10,000.
