Dear Neighbors and Friends;

This weekend we have a lot of fun things to do to help maintain our community and our City. I hope you will join us as you have done since 2009. Our hours of volunteer work have and will continue to make a difference for decades to come. 

St. Andrews Plaza Weekly Cleanup

This little park and its patrons need all the help we can give. We always have hot coffee, tools, lots of neighbors and friends. Join us as we create a closer and safer community. 

Every Saturday at 10am

(San Pablo and 32nd St.)

Mandela Parkway Monthly Cleanup

Come give our neighbors and the Friends of Mandela Parkway a hand! This gorgeous asset of our community needs our help. Last month we helped West Oakland Green Initiative prune all the trees along this gorgeous avenue. We start at the North-end and work our way down picking-up trash until we meet the group that comes from the South-end. We have all the tools. We just need your smiles and energy.

Every first Saturday at 9am

(Mandela Parkway and 34th St.)

Jack London District Trash Bash 2012

If you want something incredibly fun to do on Sunday with your kids, join us at this great event. Our friends and neighbors from the Jack London District Association will clean the entire neighborhood. We will have an awesome BBQ lunch followed by great music by local DJ's and traipse entertainment by local stars!
