Project Manager, Business Analysis - Marketplace Analytics
$90k's + 10% -20% bonus
For Supply Chain Analytics Firm - western burb - Chicago

Marketplace Analytics provides key decision makers within The Firm
with fact-based guidance to increase the effectiveness and efficiency
of the supply chain in meeting consumer needs. The Project Manager
will direct the systematic production and distribution of numerous
recurring reports and special ad-hoc analysis as necessary. The
content of the reports is communicated in a weekly presentation to
executives. Responsibilities will include: Performing the systematic
analysis of promotions with a special focus on supply chain and
marketing performance, to include all relevant factors influencing
variation in sales rates across geographies and restaurants; Leading
the development and execution of processes that allow inflexible
timelines to be met regarding the distribution and communication of
these analyses; Lead responsibility in the identification and
communication of marketplace trends to internal and external clients,
including presentations with a high degree of visibility internally
and externally; Lead management of all aspects of promotion reporting,
including team participation, data coding, report design, data
analysis and communication of results; Educating and informing
internal and external clients in the use of data and decision support
tools; Establish and maintaining relationships with internal and
external clients.

Qualified candidates will have at least 5 years of marketing research
and analysis experience in a consulting or marketing research
organization. Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field of study
(statistics, math, economics) or business/marketing with a
quantitative focus and Master's degree (MS, MA or MBA) required. Must
have solid knowledge and background assessing sales impacts of
marketing factors (price, media support, etc.) using SAS, Siebel and
other end user tools in a UNIX and Windows XP environment. Strong
skills needed in: analysis, deadline management, communications,
presentations, adaptability/flexibility, leadership, team
participation, decision making, and dealing with ambiguity.
