Business Development Manager (BDM)
The Business Development Manager is responsible for managing all Business Alliances including Partnerships from the Global Sales Head Office Perspective. The Business Development Manager works continuously to strengthen these alliances and establish new relationships in turn exploring new markets and strengthening foot hold in existing Global markets.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain and Strengthen all Business Alliances and Partnerships
- Work to improve existing relationships and take them to the next level
- Serve as the single point of contact for all Partners and Business Alliances
- Establish relationships that are identified by management
- Update key stake holders of all updates with respect to partners and business alliances
- Make sure that all legal and procedural requirements from partners are fulfilled on time and according to procedure for successful continuation of the relationship
- Make sure that maximum benefits from partners and alliances are utilized
- Make sure that maximum opportunities from partners and alliances are availed
- Keep partners and alliances updated on Computer Research developments and updates
- Ensure strong PR within the partner and business alliance entity
- Understand the inner workings of all partner and alliance structures and interfaces and capitalize on all possible opportunities
- Be informed of all key updates about partners and alliances and update key decision makers accordingly
- Identify possible leads and qualify them as per process
- Stay active during the entire cycle with the customers as per process and capitalize on opportunities while maintain customer satisfaction
- Responsible for all agreements and making sure that all Computer Research interests are safe guarded from a business perspective
- Keep all agreements up to date with respect to alliances and partnerships
- Maintain a high standard of moral values and ethics and work in a positive manner
- Ensuring transparency to juniors and reporting line of all working
- Work in accordance with Computer Research philosophy
- Ensure a high morale within account managers and manage them effectively
Business Development Executive (BDE)
The Business Development Executive is an entry level position in the Global Sales Office at Computer Research. The Business Development Executive helps the Business Development Manager by taking on individual accounts and playing the role of Account Manager primarily and in taking directives from the Business Development Manager to achieve the goals and objectives of the Global Sales Office.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple accounts as Account Manager
- Achieve targets with respect to Customer Accounts maintaining customer satisfaction
- Stay involved in complete sales cycle to project sign off with customers monitoring key activity and capitalizing on opportunities
- Maintain and improve relationships in Customer Accounts
- Enhance PR in Customer Accounts
- Maintain Customer Contact Date and Contact Information of all associated with the designated Accounts
- Stay updated with respect to Customer entity and Customer key Stakeholder entities
- Serve as the single point of contact for designated Accounts
- Ensuring that maximum benefit is realized from designated Accounts
- Keeping key people on the designated Customer Accounts updated on Computer Research key updates and developments
- Identify leads within Customer Accounts and create leads where possible
- Keeping all agreements with respect to Customer Accounts updated at all times
- Work in accordance with Computer Research philosophy
- Take directives from designated Business Development Manager as and when required and accomplish tasks with priority
- Ensure procedure compliance during the complete query to project life cycle
- Gather and continuously monitor customer feedback
- Report to management on customer feedback
- Identify areas of improvement from the customer feedback data and take up issues with relevant departments
- Ensure that corrective action and steps for improvements are taken for identified areas of improvements
- Evaluate the results from improvements and justify actions taken
- Create reports for management as and when required on data related to queries, proposals and projects
- Maintain a central repository of all important documents and data relevant to Computer Research globally from Head Office perspective that is up to date at all times
- Fulfill requests from different departments within Computer Research for data from the central repository
- Escalate issues as per organization chart when required
