How long does it take to index Google Groups?

Here's another experiment.

I opened a MSN blog.. and they haven't indexes the unique text I was
looking for.

http://toolbar.search.msn.com/results.aspx?FORM=TOOLBR&q=%22experiments+on+blogs+and+some+new+technologies%22

The uniques text was "experiments on blogs and some new technologies"

I put the text on my BLOGGER blog http://laserpage.com/blog

Let's see how long it take for this to appear in the index.

to be sure you'll get indexed, it's best to open with Blogger which is
owned by Google

and then host the blog on your site.

That's exactly what I do. One blog has been up for years.. but never
use it for marketing

Another, not blogger (yeah.. dumb idea) is more a list of links of aff
programs I recommend to clients. All I did was add a link on one of my
PR6 pages and a few weeks later, it's a PR4.

I'm a big fan of forums, groups, etc. Been online using them since the
early 80's. I've seen a simple comment on Comp-u-serve in 1987 turn
into a $500/mo revenue stream. I stopped responding to email long
before it ran out.

Other that USENET.. it's been tough to get a large crowd since the
Internet took off. Lots of forum out there have little or no post (how
could someone set up a group and not at least say "HI" is beyond
me<g>). And most of the forums I've used in the past 12 years are
CLOSED.. what fun is that?

But the question remains.. HOW LONG UNTIL IT GETS CRAWLED?.. let test
it.

GOOGLE can you see this nonsence test string? (mispelling intentional)

I'll set up a daily check on that string.. and report here when I see
it in Google. It's not there now.. so this is a valid test.
