I started this group early in 2005 to test if anything here would be
indexed.

It was a dismall failure, and I've since discovered much better ways to
get into Google quick (I'll post on that later).

However, after 10 months of waiting, I got a GOOGLE ALERT today with
some test text.. for the first time, postings here are in the Google
index.

Maybe Google is "sandboxing" their own sites<G>
