Does an MSN MySites blog work like other blogs?

While testing the features of MSN search (the beta project, not the
current search), I noticed some listing from my blogs intalled the MSN
Desktop search and then clicked a button to "learn about MSN Features"

Before I knew it, I had a blog up on the MSN site.

Frankly, I don't like their approach.. felt more like I was settging up
a diary. But hey.. if it works, we'll do it.
