Subject: Fw: [HeadStart] IMP: Interns required for Headstart

Dear all,

Headstart has set the ball rolling for hiring its first employee - an intern - for a period of 8-10 weeks. If you wish to apply, please send an email with your resume to ar...@headstart.in with "Internship" in the subject line. Here are more details of the internship:

Project:
Research into early stage startups in India
- Full-time
- Will involve data mining, internet research, interviews and primary research
- Deliverable: A reliable searchable database of Indian startups over the past 4 years
- Challenge deliverable which would earn a letter of commendation: Identification of emerging market opportunities and the startups who are creating them.

Period:
- 8 weeks starting May 2011

Location
- Mumbai (extraordinary cases from elsewhere may be considered)

Ideal candidate would have completed first year of post graduate study at a reputable business school. However, this does not bar candidates from an undergraduate background. The selected candidate would stand for self motivation, drive for results and passion for startups. Volunteer with Headstart would make a stronger case but it is not required.

Please note that this will be a paid internship. We would highly appreciate if you could forward this email to others you know could be interested.
