Sriram V Iyer, CTO and Co-Founder, United Mobile Apps (www.umobile.in) has been into embedded and mobile devices Programming for over 11 years. He is also author of book

MMF‘Embedded Real time Systems programming’.

Target Audience
It is valuable to both novices and experienced developers, who are interested in

·         deploying and

 

·         testing applications for the Android™ mobile phone platform

 

The participants need to have prior experience in developing mobile applications for other platforms. Java experience is recommended to get the most benefit from this training.

Outcome of the workshop
On completion of this course, you would be able to: Understand the overall architecture of the Android™ platform and use of the SDK environment. Understand the differences between Android™ and other mobile development environments. Understand how Android™ applications work, their life cycle, manifest, Intents, and other related concepts.

A Masters in Electronics and a Masters and PhD in Computer Science, Dr Anirban Basu has more than twenty-five years of experience in various national and multinational organizations. He has worked for premier organizations like Indian Statistical Institute, CDAC, Siemens Information Systems Ltd., Micros-Fidelio, Computer Associates TCG Software, Ocwen Technology XChange in various senior/ top management capacities.
