XEURON 2012

[Mark My Fest]

 

XEURON 2010 was the first ever National level Biomedical Technical Festival organized by the Biomedical Department of Thadomal Shahani Engineering College, Bandra, Mumbai (the first college in India to have introduced the branch of Biomedical Engg in 1983) in Feb-2010 and was a grand success. It strived to amalgamate a rich sea of talent and nurture it, and thus it gave everyone involved, an opportunity to make a better future for themselves in this beautiful field of Biomedical Engineering. 

 

The Exhibitions over the years drew in companies like Johnson and Johnson, Drager , GE Healthcare, Maestros, Schiller etc. The response was overwhelming, with over 300 attendees for the Workshops. Participants and organizers both, enjoyed themselves and looked forward to this pioneer in the Biomedical field teasing their intellectual senses for years to come, and surely XEURON 2011 lived up to those expectations and more!

The wings of XEURON span a whole range of contests and events aimed to test the technical prowess of participants and to make them extrapolate textbook know-how to real-life situations in a creative way. XEURON encompasses events ranging from the technical paper presentation and poster contests to workshops and hospital visits. This year we will be having hospital visits to a number of esteemed hospitals. Events like BIOQUIZ and BIOZEE will show you just how fun biology is.

XEURON 2012 already has registrations from all over the country. We will have participants and delegates gracing us from cities like Pune, Bangalore, Vellore, and Ahmedabad.
