Interest in speaking as part of Pollinator Steward Training?

Hello Sarah and lovely butterfly folk!

I hope this email finds you well amidst a blanket of snow.

My name is Junaid and I work as an Ecologist with Pollinator Partnership Canada. I am reaching out to you to see if you would be interested in speaking about butterflies as part of a Canada-wide Pollinator Steward training.

The webinar on Butterflies and other pollinators will be held on March 16th 2022 at 7 pm EST, and we are looking for enthusiastic speakers to do a ~25 min talk on butterflies, with an overview of butterflies across Canada, and some species or genera to profile in the Maritimes.

I know it's not a long amount of time to present but we plan to have someone else speak on butterflies in Western Canada, and myself on an overarching view of non-bee pollinators to lead into your potential piece (followed by questions). The webinars will be recorded and live online as a long-term Canada-wide Pollinator Steward training course.

We are able to offer a $200 honorarium for your talk.
