Mary and I took advantage of the long overdue break in the rain to visit a bog in Fredericton.  There were still a few Spring Azures flying on the road in, as well as several fresh Canadian Tiger Swallowtails. In the bog we found a few Brown Elfins, as well as a couple of tiny elfins which I am reasonably sure were Bog Elfins, but we never got one in the net. There were also many very fresh Jutta Arctics on the wing.  Hopefully the dry weather holds for a while!

Dwayne, Where did you see the Arctics? That would be a new one for me!

One of your old stomping grounds Chris.  The road across from Kents.  You have to stomp out into the bog though, but once out there you should have no trouble seeing them flitting around.  We accessed the bog from the powerline that crosses the road.
