Hello all,
On July 1, Danielle LeBlanc and I caught a Short-tailed Swallowtail at the summit of Squaw Cap (47.882247,-66.88636). This is just the third confirmed inland record of the species in New Brunswick (the other two are from near Edmundston and St. Leonard). On June 30 we saw another black-coloured swallowtail at the top of Sugarloaf Mountain in Campbellton that was very likely another Short-tailed Swallowtail, but unfortunately I wasn't able to document it. I've written up a little note on the find at the blog. Take a look at http://maritimesbutterflyatlas.wordpress.com/
