Yes, it is sinful to burn the Koran even though clearly Sharia Islam is
the enemy of all true Christians, based on the public record given
below at <#1>. Currently Moslems are killing Christians in
Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Sudan and Indonesia<see #2 below>.
Clearly Sharia Moslems have made themselves the enemies of true
Christians by their evil behavior as documented by Persecution.org.
Sharia Islamists are as evil, dangerous and a threat or freedome and
democracy as the Nazis (National
Socialist German Workers' Party), Stalin's communists (Union of Soviet
Socialist Republics), Obama's socialist and pro-communist members of
his Executive Branch, and Mao's communists. There is no freedom of
speech or religion in Islamic Sharia Law, but there sure is a lot of
oppression of women.
Burning the Koran is the sin of paying back evil with evil. It violates
the command to live in peace with everyone and violates the following:
14 Keep on blessing those who persecute you and do not curse them.
. . . . 16 Live in harmony with each other. . . .
17 Do not pay anyone back with wickedness, injury, evil and or
harm <2556 kak-os> for the wickedness, injury, evil and/or harm
<2556 kak-os> [they did], but fix your thoughts on what is right
and honorable in the sight of all people. 18 If possible, so far as it
depends on you, live in peace with everyone. 19 Never avenge
yourselves, dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath. For it is
written, “Vengeance belongs to me. I will pay them back, says the
Lord.” 20 But “if your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is
thirsty, give him a drink. By doing this, you will pile burning coals
on his head. 21 Do not be overcome and conquered by wickedness, injury,
evil and/or harm <2556 kak-os>, but overcome and conquer
wickedness, injury, evil and/or harm <2556 kak-os> with good and
benefits." Rom 12
Burning the Koran is neither kind nor loving, fails to do good to the
Moslems.
"27 “But I say to you who are listening: Kindly, gently, patiently and
unselfishly Love your enemies. Do good to those who hate you. 28 Bless
those who curse you, and pray for those who insult you. 29 If someone
hits you on the cheek, offer him the other one as well, and if someone
takes your coat, don’t keep back your shirt either. 30 Keep on
giving [something] to everyone who asks you [for something], and if
anyone takes what is yours, do not insist on getting it back. 31
Whatever you want people to do to and for you, do the same to them."
Luke 6
Burning the Koran is sin because it is contentious and breeds
contention, is not conciliatory, is not courteous to Moslems.
"1REMIND PEOPLE to . . . 2 To slander or abuse or speak evil of
no one [including the sexually immoral and amoral], to avoid being
contentious [with the morally and sexually immoral and amoral], to be
forbearing, yielding, gentle, and conciliatory, and to show unqualified
courtesy toward everybody [including the morally and sexually immoral
and amoral]. 3For we also were once thoughtless and senseless,
obstinate and disobedient, deluded and misled [blind and spiritually
dead in our sins]; [we too were once] slaves to all sorts of cravings
and pleasures, wasting our days in malice and jealousy and envy,
hateful, hated, detestable and hating one another." Titus 3 From AB
1 Cor 10, paraphrased for application in [brackets]:
23 "All things are lawful,” but not all things are helpful. “All things
are lawful,” but not all things build up. 24 No one should seek
his own benefit, but the benefit of his neighbor [including Moslems].
25 [Burn any religious book you wish] without raising any
question on the ground of conscience. . . . 27 If one of the
unbelievers invites you to [a public book burning] and you are disposed
to go, [partake in the event] without raising any question on the
ground of conscience. 28 But if someone says to you, “[I believe that
the public burning of the Koran is sinful],” then do not [be involved
with such a book burning], for the sake of the one who informed you,
and for the sake of conscience— 29 I do not mean your conscience, but
his. For why should my [book burning] liberty be determined by someone
else’s conscience? 30 If I partake [a book burning] with thankfulness,
why am I denounced because of that for which I give thanks? 31 So,
whether you [burn books or don't burn books], or whatever you do, do
all to the glory of God. 32 Give no offense to Jews or to Greeks or to
the church of God, 33 just as I try to please everyone [including
Moslems] in everything I do, not seeking my own advantage, but that of
many, that they may be saved.'
Paraphrased for application:
". . . Everything is indeed clean and pure, but it is wrong for anyone
to hurt the conscience of others [including Moslems] or to make them
fall [into sinful behavior] by what he [does]. 21The right thing is to
eat no meat or drink no wine [at all], or [burn Korans] if it makes
your brother stumble or hurts his conscience or offends or weakens him
[spiritually]. 22 Your personal convictions [on book
burning]--exercise [them] as in God's presence, [privately and
discretely] keeping them to yourself. Blessed (happy, to be envied) is
he who has no reason to judge himself for what [book burning] he
approves. 23 But the one who has doubts (misgivings, an uneasy
conscience) about [burning a copy of the Koran], and then [burns a copy
of the Koran], stands condemned [before God], because he is not true to
his [own] convictions and he does not act from faith [that is based on
and derived from the Word of God]. For whatever [behavior] does not
originate and proceed from [such] faith is sin. 15: 1 WE WHO are
strong [in our convictions based on the Word of God] ought to bear with
the failings and the frailties and the tender scruples of the weak [in
Spirit and in faith]; and [ought] not to please ourselves [to the harm
of others, including Moslems]. 2 Each one of us should make it a
practice to please his neighbor [including Moslems] for his good and
for his true welfare, to strengthen and build him up
[spiritually], 3 For Christ did not please Himself . Romans

<#1> Islam denies that Jesus was crucified, died and rose from
the dead.
Translation: Yusufali
[an-Nisa' 4:157.9] "That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ
Jesus the son of Mary, the Apostle of God";- but they killed him not,
nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who
differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but
only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-"
Sura 2, The Heifer - 2:116] They said, "GOD has begotten a son!" Be He
glorified; never! To Him belongs everything in the heavens and the
earth; all are subservient to Him.
[an-Nisa' 4:171.21] O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your
religion: Nor say of God aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the
son of Mary was (no more than) an apostle of God, and His Word, which
He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe
in God and His apostles.

"In most countries with Sharia Law the Jews and Christians have been
killed or left long ago. The poor are the ones to be flogged,
amputated, crucified now days. The vast majority of the people who live
under Sharia Law are people deemed "dispensable," and to whom human
rights do NOT exist. The vast majority of people living under the
terror and tyranny of Sharia Law have no basic human rights. The people
are subjected to the Sharia atrocities. The masses under Sharia Law
have NO CHOICE or chance to a secular trial, where they could be
imprisoned, instead of having hands of feet amputated. The vast
majority will be quickly flogged, amputated, or executed."

turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them;

"in modern English it often refers to an Islamic concept, the wide body
of Islamic religious law[citation needed]. Used thus, it refers to the
legal framework within which the public and private aspects of life are
regulated for those living in a legal system based on Islamic
principles of jurisprudence and for Muslims living outside the domain.
Sharia deals with many aspects of day-to-day life, including politics,
economics, banking, business, contracts, family, sexuality, hygiene,

Making SLAVES out of Christians:
http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=20586
"The International Criminal Court this week issued warrants for the
arrest of Ahmed Haroun, the minister for humanitarian affairs of Sudan,
and Ali Kosheib, a leader of that country’s notorious janjaweed
militia. . . . Charges include murder, rape, torture and “imprisonment
or severe deprivation of liberty.” Severe deprivation of
liberty -- that is, slavery. Egypt’s Al-Ahram Weekly observed this
week that in Sudan, “slavery, sanctioned by religious zealots, ravaged
the southern parts of the country and much of the west as well. . . . .
The BBC reported in March 2007 that slave raids “were a common feature
of Sudan’s 21-year north-south war, which ended in 2005….According to a
study by the Kenya-based Rift Valley Institute, some 11,000 young boys
and girls were seized and taken across the internal border -- many to
the states of South Darfur and West Kordofan….Most were forcibly
converted to Islam, given Muslim names and told not to speak their
mother tongue.” . . . While non-Muslims are enslaved and often
forcibly converted to Islam, their conversion does not lead to their
freedom. Mauritanian anti-slavery campaigner Boubacar Messaoud
explains: “It’s like having sheep or goats. If a woman is a slave, her
descendants are slaves.”
Besides being practiced more or less openly today in Sudan and
Mauritania, there is evidence that slavery still continues beneath the
surface in other majority-Muslim countries also -- notably Saudi
Arabia,”"
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> IRAQ'S
PERSECUTION OF CHRISTIANS
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
07/07/10 Another Christian killed in Mosul --
Targeted attacks against Iraqi Christians continue. . . . The agony
continues for the Christian community in Mosul, the most dangerous city
in Iraq. A 54 year old Syrian Orthodox was killed because of his public
Christian stand and practice. The Christians are despondent and living
in constant fear.
http://www.persecution.org/suffering/index.php
05/14/10 'Obliterating' Iraq's Christians
"Relentless waves of bombings, assassinations, kidnappings, extortions
and rapes have triggered a mass exodus of Christians from Iraq over the
past seven years. Since 2003, over half of the estimated 1.5 million
Iraqi Chaldean Catholics, Assyrian, Syriac Orthodox, and Armenian
Christians, as well as some Protestants have fled to Syria, Jordan and
farther flung places. While only 3 or 4 percent of Iraq's pre-2003
population, they account for 40 percent of its refugees, the UN
reported.
"Christians remain the largest non-Muslim minority there but church
leaders express a real fear that the light of the faith in Iraq that is
said to have been kindled personally by Thomas, one of Jesus' Twelve
Apostles, could soon be extinguished. Iraq's other non-Muslim
religions, the much smaller groups of Mandeans (followers of John the
Baptist), Yizidis (an ancient angel-centered religion), Bahai's and
Jews are also all being forced out by violence.
"Religious persecution in Iraq is so "egregious" that the country has
now been included, alongside the likes of notoriously repressive Iran
and China, on a recommended short list of "Countries of Particular
Concern" under the International Religious Freedom Act, by the U.S.
Commission on International Religious
Freedom."

01/19/10 Iraq: Targeted execution of Christians continues, media and
government silent
"The tactic is to murder Christians, because the media does not talk
about it."
"Mosul: targeted execution of Christians continues in media and
government silence," from AsiaNews, January 19 (thanks to C. Cantoni):
"Mosul (AsiaNews) - The second targeted attack against the Christian
community in less than 24 hours, the indifference of the security
forces who did not intervene.
"They did not intervene, of course, because they believe in the same
jihad.
"Local witnesses reported that "the murder took place in front of the
security forces, who saw all the phases of the attack, but did not
intervene." A Catholic in Mosul says that "the tactic is to murder
Christians, because the media does not talk about it." A strategy that
aims to push Christians towards the plain of Nineveh, "in the silence
and indifference of the government and the international community."
"A source for AsiaNews in Mosul, adds that "Christians are living in
panic and have begun fleeing from the city".

06/30/08 Iraq's Persecution of Christians Continues to Spiral out of
Control
"Indeed, Iraqi Christians have continued to find themselves in the
cross hairs of faith-inspired violence. The worst episodes have
occurred in regions with diverse ethnic and religious groups, such as
Baghdad and Mosul, where the majority of Iraq's Christians live. The
State Department reported last year that Muslim extremists "warned
Christians living in Baghdad's Dora district to convert, leave or be
killed."
"Commission representatives recently visited Iraq. Among other things,
they are assessing whether religious freedom is threatened due to
possible collusion between Shiite militias and Iraqi government
ministries, and whether the country's smallest religious minorities are
being marginalized by government officials and parastate militias. , ,

"We need your help to stop the Afghan government from arresting Afghan
Christians and condemning them to death by public
execution!
[The enclosed letter] "addresses recent events inside
Afghanistan that have unfolded since May 27th, 2010 after an incendiary
documentary showing photos and videos of secret "Afghan Christian
Converts" aired on Noorin TV, an independent tv station based in Kabul.
The documentary was the first of its kind to ever air publicly on
national TV in Afghanistan, a country that considers itself to be 100%
Muslim. The controversial content, revealing names and faces of
supposed Afghan Christian converts, sparked riots and demonstrations
throughout Afghanistan in the days that followed.
During the ensuing protests, demonstrators called on President Hamid
Karzai and the Afghan government to take strong and decisive actions
against these exposed Afghan Christian converts by enforcing the Afghan
constitution, based on Islamic Sharia law, which clearly call for the
arrest and public execution of anyone who leaves Islam for another
religion.
"According to an online report by the Associated Free Press dated June
1, 2010, Abdul Sattar Khawasi, deputy secretary of the Afghan lower
house in parliament, called for the execution of Christian converts
from Islam saying, "those Afghans that appeared in this video film
should be executed in public, the house should order the Attorney
General and the NDS (intelligence agency) to arrest these Afghans and
execute them".
"In another reported statement, Qazi Nazir Ahmad, a lawmaker from
Herat, declared that killing a Muslim who converts to Christianity is
"not a crime". Waheed Omar, the spokesman for the President, told
reporters that President Hamid Karzai himself was "personally" taking
an interest in this case, and had ordered his interior minister and the
head of the country´s spy agency to do a full investigation and
"to take immediate and serious action to prevent this phenomenon".
"Reports from inside Afghanistan already tell of many arrests in recent
days, frequent and ongoing searches of homes and businesses, as well as
claims of torture by those under arrest in an effort to forcibly
extract the names of other Afghan Christian converts and the locations
of secret Afghan Christian "churches" and underground fellowships
throughout the country."
It is a crying shame that America does not have enough of the right
kind of "content of character" to intervene. Since this is a
humanitarian crisis and neither Iraq or Afghanistan is doing nothing
about it the USA could demand and set up bases in Mosul and Kabul to
provide safe havens for victims and to ensure that basic UN human
rights are maintained among the population. As it is now, our tax money
is subsidizing this grossly vicious persecution of Christians and
minorities, and that ain't right! If Iraq and Afghanistan continue to
do this, allowing such persecution, and the USA does nothing about it,
no more American blood should be spent on Iraq's or Afghanistan's
soil and for sure no more USA money should go to support Iraq or
Afghanistan. Please pray and then contact your elected
representatives.

Innocent Christians shot dead in Pakistan
"The Asia Evangelical Alliance expresses profound grief over the death
of two Christians who were shot death in Pakistan according to reports.
"Suspected Islamic extremists on July 19 outside a courthouse shot dead
two Christians accused of “blaspheming” prophet Muhammad.
"The armed gunmen shot the Rev. Rashid Emmanuel, 32, and his
30-year-old brother Sajid Emmanuel, days after handwriting experts on
Wednesday (July 14) notified police that signatures on papers
denigrating Muhammad did not match those of the accused. Expected to be
exonerated soon, the two leaders of United Ministries Pakistan were
being led in handcuffs back to jail under police custody when they were
shot at 2:17 p.m., Christians present said."

It appears that to Sharia Moslems, a good Christian is a dead Christian.
--
Having been made in Jehovah-God's likeness, we shouldn't think that the divine nature is like gold or silver or stone, or an image fashioned by human art and imagination. Therefore, having overlooked the times of our ignorance, Jehovah now commands all people everywhere to turn to Jehovah-God from their sin, because He has set a day on which He is going to judge all people in righteousness by the Man, Jesus Christ, that He has appointed. He has provided proof of this to everyone by raising Jesus Christ from the dead. Everyone who keeps on believing in and relying on Jesus Christ may have eternal life. For Jehovah-God so compassionately loved all people that He gave His only Son, born of woman, that whoever continues to believe in and rely on Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For Jehovah-God did not send his Son into the world to condemn people, but to save people through Him. Whoever is believing in and relying on Him is not condemned, but anyone who does not keep on relying on Him stands condemned already because of failing to believe and trust in the nature and character of Jehovah-God's only Son, born of woman.
