Dear parents,

This morning we got a sad news about the demise of Mr Mvula who passed on yesterday after being shot by thugs at Mangochi FMB. Mr Mvula was a police officer in Mangochi, who yester day he went on escort to cash the money from FMB -Mangochi with his collegues. He was the father to William Mvula, a form one student at MARIST SECONDARY SCHOOL. Burial will take place tomorrow in Zomba at Chinamwali from 13:00.

Mrs Rose Mvula (wife to the late Mvula) can be reached on 0888852734.

May the soul of Mr Mvula Rest in Eternal Peace.

It is really sad; not to mention the manner in which our fellow parent died. My wife and I attended the burial ceremony and she managed to talk to the boy. Thanks brother Sambo for the information. Let us continue to pray for the bereaved family.

This death is very painful to the Marist family. The hopes that our fellow parent had, the expectation that the family had,  more importantly, the dady love the boy had are all dashed, just like that. The works of the devil cannot be ruled out here and I ask the good Lord of the living to comfort all the bereaved at this painful moment.

Considering that in a few days time the boy will be expected to go to School. May I suggest that as parents we should contribute something towards his education during this hard times the family is going through. The school can be requested to work on the modalities.
