BAFHA AGM this Sunday Feb. 10th

All:

Just a reminder to everyone that this Sunday February
10th is our BAFHA Annual General Meeting (AGM) at my
house in Berkeley, 1239 Alvarado Road. We will have
reports from the outgoing Executive Committee members,
and elections of new officers.

For this year I will not be running for President's
position. I don't have as much time this year as
compared to past years. However, I'll be available to
advice the new leadership, and most probably will
still continue to play for Marin.

Hope to see you all at the AGM on Sunday.

What time is it at..?the only reason i ask i have to go down to Pacifica until about 2..i would like to be there..however i do think there will be other representatives from Marin attending..

Hi Conor,
The meeting starts at 12:00 pm and will continue until
we finish the agenda items. Last year it lasted till
5 pm.

Also please let us know if your club would field a
team(s) this year. Cal will most probably not field a
team as they are very low in numbers.

Also, I had previously talked about shortening the
season from 6 months to 4 months. Although we are
totally dependent on field availability, this will be
an agenda item for discussion.

Andreas: Please add the following items for the
agenda.

1. Club participation for 2008
2. Shorten the Season to 4 months (if possible)
3. Stricter disciplinary actions for 2008
4. Limit number of forfeit points won in League
Standings
5. Clubs will be more responsible for providing
umpires

cant make it sunday homie but maybe bring up the idea of maybe lending players to cal from marin or merging etc..... maybe we can have 2 teams instead of loosing a team I am sure there are players who would like to play still we have to promote not lose teams ,let me know what you think ,it could be marin -and marin /cal
